New blog - no pics

We went Geocaching yesterday with Siobhan and Maddy.

it sounds painful, but its actually just treasure hunting.

Santa brought us a GPS unit this year, and one of the neat things to do with it is Geocaching.

There are tonnes of caches for us to explore near our house, and even more in town. We picked one close by, and took the girls on the hunt.

We arrived at the coordinates, and gave Siobhan and Maddy the clue. "Hidden under branches and rocks." Since we were on a trail in the woods - there were lots of branches and lots of rocks.

The girls found a pile that didnt look quite right. Under the leaves they found a container!

Inside we found a stash of keychains, some bumper stickers and a log book.
We wrote our names in the book, and traded some of the keychains we brought with some from the treasure.

The girls closed up the chest, and hid it back where it was so the next group of hunters could find it.

We returned to the house, to find that all three of our digital cameras had battery challenges.

Please imagine the joy that was on the girls faces - that will be better than a pic. Plus - its all we have!

Superfantastic Wedding of the Year!

And it tasted as good as it looked!
Congratulations to little Brodie and his amazing wife!
You two are a fantastic couple, and we are all incredibly proud of you.

Such a beautiful girl - she was so good for the whole event.
